RB Fine Art and the New Year
First, I would like to say a quick thank you to all of you who made 2011 the successful year that it was for me. Without your support I couldn't have achieved the goals that I did last year.
Second, when I peer into my crystal ball 2012 looks to be even more exciting than 2011 was! Here are a few of the events to look forward to in the new year:
30 in 30 Works on Paper Studio Sale
Starting on March 15th, I will be adding a new section to my website, the 30 in 30 Works on Paper section. Each day from the middle of March until the middle of April I will be posting a piece of artwork for sale. No work will be priced above $300. You'll be able to see a quality image of the work and read a little bit about its history. Some of these works on paper will have been exhibited before, some have never been seen outside of my studio. Each piece can be purchased online through the site or by contacting me. You'll be able to visit the works posted on previous days as well, but when the 30 days are up, the sale is over!
Exhibition at Galley 26, Little Rock, Arkansas
I'm excited to once again be showing my work at Gallery 26 in Little Rock. I've been working on a large group of new paintings to show, all with their own story to tell. Look for new works like Mr. Fallaway Was Counting Cars Again, Even the Dead Take Vacations Too, Singing for Kisses Through the Stars, and Strangers You Always Knew this summer at the gallery.
Exhibition at the Open Gallery, Vincennes, Indiana
In 2010 I had the opportunity to show my work at the Jasper Art Center in Jasper Indiana. I had a wonderful time and really fell in love with that area of the country. When I came across a call for submissions from a gallery near Jasper, in Vincennes, I jumped at the opportunity. I'll be shipping new works to the gallery for a solo show this fall.

The ASP is Alive and Well
Formed in the fall of 2011, The Arkansas Society of Printmakers (ASP), a group of around twenty artists who work with printmaking techniques joined together with the idea of promoting the printmaking arts in the state of Arkansas and to bring to a higher level of public awareness what exactly printmaking is. The society has already held its inaugural exhibition at Hendrix College in October of last year. We're moving forward into 2012 with several show ideas, workshops, and public events in the works. I've been elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the group as the PR/Marketing director. If you are interested in speaking with the group, or know of an organization that would like to speak with us, whether its for hosting an exhibition or organizing a workshop, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I'm a narrative artist from Little Rock, Arkansas. I believe in the power of words and images combined and love to create storylines with my artwork.
